The OTHER South American Series

I am looking for 7 other players to join me in a different kind of South American series. When I saw butterheads post I was all "ooo, thats a good idea" but it turns out he wasnt doing what I thought he was. details inside.

We will start with one game of South American Supremacy (8 players) 24 hrs, 10 point buy in, 24 hr phase. When the game ends, the top 5 players will advance to play a South America (5 players) game. Once that game is completed, all but the first player eliminated will advance to the finals, a South America (4 players) game. Winner(s) of that will be the king of South America! the first game will start in Feburary due to a 3 day absence of myself later January. point bet is up for negotiation, default being 10

If someone else speaks up that wants to join, I'm fine tossing mine out. Not exactly sure how long this whole thing could take, as normally on my school vacations, I go to a different family member's house. It's much more possible to miss a turn when I'm not at my house. I'm thinking at least a month in advance.

I'm fine if you want, I do like, rarely miss a turn, I am playing like 5 games or so.

Just sometimes I end up going to my uncle's house or somewhere else for a couple days or more and the risk of me missing a turn goes up quite a bit as I don't always get the time to go on and submit orders.

So if you would like to really play in this butterhead, I'm fine and I'll step down, Just think of me as like a backup person if needed lol.

Just consider me a backup, I'm not always fond of tournaments. Maybe I'm just underestimating myself, I am slowly rising through the top 100 though (sort of) I'm at like #97 atm. lol

Well, I'm perfectly fine if you take my spot. I'm just such a nice person anyways ^_^
until in game, that changes a little :P

In fact.... If your all so ready, King Atom, I put you in charge of creating the game. make it now, but put a 10 day time joining phase for it, that way you all can join, and when I get back I can join and we can get started.
10 point, 24 hour phase. name it something along the lines of South American Tournament. PM all players listed above (w/ butter not adams mother) a password.

Last minute rule that I overlooked so I will implement before it is too late:
IE in this 8 player game. Should 6 players be left, and 2 of them be eliminated at the same time, we will backtrack to the last time one of those nations had more centers then the other. Not who played better, not who made the best out of a bad position, He who had the most centers will win

Another Idea:
Once the top 5 players of the game have been set, the next game will be started and the original game will continue until an organic finish occurs. that way the end does not have to be rushed.

LONGEST GAME EVER!!!! FOR SO FEW POINTS!!!!

As might be clear, this is referring to gameID=5580 I saw that one of the other players wanted to issue a bet on that the rules indicated the game would continue to 2101, when one of the players had not yet entered their orders variantID=52

Question about American Conflict

Was this map made with the specific intent that Russia should have a 0% win record? Seriously... one of their centers is utterly incapable of reaching any other center within a year. Another of their centres can only reach one. The third is only able to take a single center, from the British. The SC-happy southeast of the map is ridiculous in comparison to the empty northwest. How is this supposed to work?

@the developers: It is able to create the possibilty of a group chat ingame? In big games like World War IV it is most likely that the states form alliances and teamchat would help organizing this a lot.

Oli, our game has suddenly gone on "Pause"

How and Why the pot for all my games defaults to 1?

For any 1v1 game I create no matter the pot size I enter it always is set to 1 after I press the create button. Anybody know how I can change this?
