Mods help please - Hussite Wars is buggy

I'm just recently playing a Hussite War game ( http://vdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=7262 ) and by now its the second time that a unit could retreat where it should not be able to. In spring 1427 a bavarian unit retreated from Passau to Landshut although they don't have a common border and now, in autuum 1427 a polish unit retreated from Oppeln right through my secured lines to Olmütz in the back of my front. They again have no common border.

Conceding

How does one concede? I see the button next to 'extend', 'draw', 'pause' etc, but clicking it didn't seem to do anything :S
Do I need to wait until that phase has finished, with me having left concede on? Also do I need to/should I ready up?

Game is Stuck Due to a player who left

We paused the game, and this player has abdicated for no apparent reason. It appears he has left for good. We need to find a way to unpause the game and/or get a replacement. The game is gameID=6973

Fast Paces WW4 map.

I was wondering if I created a WW4 map in the near future that had phases of about 12 to 16 hours would enough people be interested. If I get enough people to agree on it I could even make it less than 12 hour phases. Would anyone be interested?

New variant on a variant

1v1 games are all very well (just been thrashed - and quite enjoyed it), but it seems crazy that someone from France can just walk into Germany on their way to Austria.

Wolfman proposed 5-7, which sounds like a good balance if we combine the two concepts. Summer is the season of frequent travel, and hopefully the season where we actually peel ourselves away from the computer for more than ten minutes at a time...

Wow, yes a WWIV would make it a perfect fit for the summer idea too. 15 point per player makes the pot worth 525. I suggest 4 or 5 days. However, I do think that a 7 day would be best. As most, that make summer plans usually are gone for about 1 week. Seems like we need to keep a count going on how many we have interested. I think, if you counted up the ones interested in my post and this one gives us 6, I believe.

No, I had no reasons to wait. Just wanted to see if there was any others willing to play. Then I thought base on the number of participants we would chose a variant. Wasn't sure we could find 35 people. That was the only reason at first for not setting up a game first.

Yeah, just butting in with my opinion...10 day phases or 7 day phases will likely last several years to play it out. Hell, I've had games go on for like 6 months on 36 hour phases. Y'all are nuts. Just agree to pause for vacations.

Apparently you've never tried to get 35 people to pause a game.

Though with that said, I would be down for a shorter phase game if it means we'll get the required number. Probably wouldn't want to drop below 4 days though.

With the 4 day phase length and the extend feature week long vacations should be fixed, I would think.

And no, I haven't gotten 35. I've gotten 17, but not 35

hmm, I think since the extend is just a majority that should be doable, my big fear with something with phases that long would be people losing interesting or forgetting about it and then sitting for almost 2-3 weeks for them to go into CD

I was actually quite surprised that in the first Whittle-down Tournament game, which is on the WWIV map, we were able to pause and unpause efficiently with all 35 players.

Possible Summer League

Looking for 1 game to play this summer. I was thinking 4 or 5 day phases. No complaining on not readying orders. As I know I will be very busy myself. Figured if I found enough interest in playing we could pick a variant based on how many are interested. Reply if your interested in playing. Maybe a larger bet to make it worth the wait. However, not looking to put all my eggs in one basket (honor of Easter today). Let me know if your interested and you feel on the entry fee.
