re: Egypt - how about they cannot be attacked unless they attack another player first... (then the alliances kick in...)

11 games of world played is hardly enough stats to say anything about a country.. even if you add the 3 world games currently in progress, you statistically can't say much about egypt given the other factors (egypt probably has among the most NMR's/CD's I've seen for world games as I look)

however while looking through a bunch of the WWIV games, Egypt's chances for survival seem to decrease dramatically every time Nigeria looks toward yellow. (Thus, not necessarily for this game... Is there something that can be done to put a little more pressure on Nigeria and give egypt a little more breathing room?)

Just tossing an idea out there, (not sure I even support giving one country an advantage over another) whoever draws egypt could be spotted say 5 positions, so that if egypt lasts longer than 12 other countries before exiting, they would advance. Just a possibillity...

Not yet crixno. Give it some time. The game signup just started 36 hours ago. Some people may not have seen the message yet. I personally just saw it a couple hours ago.
