The Spurs are much younger by both measures.

When people think Spurs they think Manu, Tony and my man Timmy. Those are guys have been the prominent figures on the Spurs for many years, which is why the Spurs are referred to as "old." Though in reality, it may not be true. People perceive them as old because of those three guys. So really, they kind of disregard the other 2 players. This years NBA finals is Lebron Chris D-Wade vs Manu Tony Tim. Most people (with the exception of the true fans for each team) will see it that way.

Manu ceased to be in their top three several years ago. It is also worth noting that last year LeBron, D-Wade and Bosh got beaten pretty soundly by Durant, Westbrook and Harden and it was the Miami supporting cast destroying the OKC supporting cast that won them the title.

Mike Miller and Shane Battier etc wiped the floor with Ibaka & company.

But yes Manu is soooo old. He is less than a year younger than Duncan, I believe, and wings age in dog years when they go. cough cough D-Wade cough cough

The supporting cast for the Heat pretty much destroyed the Thunder's supporting cast.

I overestimated Harden's performance and underestimated Bosh's, but otherwise, I stand by my characterization.
