To be perfectly clear. I didnt right the ship. I crashed it. I accept responsibility for that. But the majority of all - actually EVERYTHING I suggested you sheeped. You followed me on snowy. You followed me on teacon. You followed me on ezio.

You had literally nothing to say to to contrary on anything ive done. You let me lead town into the darkness and you get to use it all against me too.
brainbomb (662 D)
20 Oct 17 UTC
The closest thing you had to say regarding my alignment was to say teacon had a fun to read case on me.

Yet you followed my every idea.

When it came to teacon you agreed on all my points.
When it came to ezio you agreed he had to be scum and the GM slip either implicated me or him but you opted into the path of least resistance amd joined the mob. You asked ezio no questions. You provided no additional questions to me either.

Whats the greater sin?

¤Being wrong?
¤Following the guy being wrong?
¤sheeping a guy whos been wrong before
¤saying as little as possible and letting everyone else talk

The greatest sin is not lynching for fake claims :(

@mouse: You were right, we should have lynched brainbomb for fake claiming, and this game would be over.
bozo (2302 D)
20 Oct 17 UTC
@brainbomb: I never agreed with all your points on teacon, although I did eventually vote for him over you since you had me believing you were town. I also thought Ezio was more likely to be scum than you, but I was calling out Ezio's lurking as suspicious as early as D1. Ultimately I was wrong on everyone after snowy because you did a good job getting me to townread you.

Dont you mean I shouldve been lynched for being scum and the game would be over?

The fake claim is rather immaterial compared to being scum right?
brainbomb (662 D)
20 Oct 17 UTC
I would think leading back to back lynches on teacon and ezio would be far far scummier acts than fake claiming. I would think lynching ghug despite saying Id rather tie it than kill him would be far scummier.

Why do you care so much about the fake claim? Ive done way way way way shittier things than the fake claim. Give it a fucking rest bozo.

Are you clinging to that because it resonates with mouse or are you just semi erect for teacon. Lol.

"@brainbomb: I never agreed with all your points on teacon, although I did eventually vote for him over you since you had me believing you were town"

Fact check

bozo
Day-3 20:54
page 35 If it is going to come down to teacon and brainbomb, I think teacon is more likely to be scum. One thing I find suspicious about teacon is his apparent confusion after brainbomb and DO both claimed doc. Even after brainbomb had strongly hinted that his claim was fake, teacon was still saying he believed brainbomb’s claim because he crumbed cop. brainbomb said he was not doing that, and I do not know what teacon saw, but teacon could have been looking carefully for crumbs if he was mafia. Also, teacon said he was hinting that he was the doc, and if he was, he might have been setting himself up to fake claim if necessary.

##VOTE teacon

Page 36 : g=1001&part=Day%203&user=bozo

bozo
Day-3 05:18
page 36 @teacon: It looked like the vote was going to between you and brainbomb because there had been no movement in votes for 44 hours when I switched my vote, and Ezio had not provided any input. Both of these are still the case with less than 6 hours to go.
----

It sure looks like you claimed you believed he was scum. Nowhere in these posts is that read related to me whatsoever. Weird
brainbomb (662 D)
20 Oct 17 UTC
I guess I can see why youd say this I mean you did need us both dead. Its pretty clear you scumread teacon and me regardless of the outcome
brainbomb (662 D)
20 Oct 17 UTC
I love that. No matter what happens. Theyre both scum

¤meteor hits - both scum
¤teacon town flips - bb scum but ezio first yo
¤brain fake claims - teacon is scum but bb is too
¤teacons points are invalid
¤now theyre valid
brainbomb (662 D)
20 Oct 17 UTC
Point being you took ownership of your own reasons for scumreading teacon. You have now attempted to put that blame on me

Dawn broke over Eternia. Prince Adam was first to wake. Wary of the previous nights of death and destruction, he shifted into He Man guise and leapt onto his trusty Battle-Cat to patrol the environs of Castle Greyskull.

Birds soared in the sky above him, and the morning air was crisp and clean. Today, there would be no foul news, no further evidence of Skeletor's night-time prowlings. He still lurked somewhere, He Man was sure, but for now, the coast was clear.

NIGHT HAS ENDED EARLY

DAY HAS BEGUN

Back to what you said earlier, what is your discussion about me following you do for town?
brainbomb (662 D)
20 Oct 17 UTC
Im not understanding what you mean? I dont recall blaming you for following me on the ezio lynch. I was saying bozo followed me on teacon and ezio without any dissent. Also lets keep in mind mouse also followed me on both. So its not exactly my strongest argument but its a peice.

My arguments are that bozos participation waned.
¤his ability to right the ship was nonexistant
¤he posted a combined 7 times over two night phases
¤his case on me is that I fake claimed which isnt alignment indicative and wasnt beneficial to scum at the time whatsoever

@brainbomb: Your fake claim was beneficial to scum because it revealed the real cop. We were lucky that DO had a positive scan, otherwise your fake claim would have been even more detrimental to town.

Classic 1898 Variant adaptation
I do the adaptation for 1898 variant. Who knows the author of the variant to mention him in the description. Or it's Hasbro itself?

Tactics
In year one when you just meeting everyone, maybe there anonymous but for sure you don't know any of them. How do you know who to trust?
They can be lying through their teeth and text doesn't show tone of voice or eye contact so you have no idea. If you believe them they may stab you. If you don't you venture into a DMZ and piss them off. Ask around to others and you get rumors or nothing. This game seems so much better suited to face to face.

Classic Mini-Tourney - Is there interest?
I thought about making a mini-tourney - comprising a single game - using a similar scheme to most Face-to-Face scoring systems.

Basically it'll be a Classic game, running until Fall 1907 and a PPSC structure. The bet would be 100 points - for a ultimate pot worth 700 points.

Unable to enter certain orders. How to contact GM
Can someone help. I am playing one of the odder variants. New for me. I’ve read the variant page repeatedly and seems I ought to be able to enter a certain order. But it’s not available as an option. (Maybe I’m missing something. Or maybe a bug). Emailed the mods. But how do I contact GameMaster min a gunboat game?
Thanks

Is England* vs Turkey truly balanced?
The stats spread on England* vs Turkey is innocuous enough. England* wins 55% of games which do not end in a draw, Turkey wins 45%. England is favored, but not to the extent that Turkey can't win; the game is not balanced, but it also isn't drastically skewed either way.

However, I have recently encountered an opening from England that I'm struggling to counter as Turkey.
