I'm also a bad liberal in that I dislike the Kennedy family and their hold on politics in that region. Talk about other people's dirty money, that fortune came from bootlegging. Were I a registered voter, I would probably have voted for Nixon in 1960, even if I also knew that Watergate would eventually happen and even though he was a key member of the HUAC, an organization I completely despise.
In fact, I was very near to voting for John McCain, but the Palin factor and the fact that he was no longer the McCain of the 80's and 90's (for the worse) made me change my mind. I'm not solidly in Obama's camp this time either. I wasted a vote on Ralph Nader as a protest one year, even. His story's actually hilarious to me anyway.
He wrote a poorly researched and factually inaccurate on many points book. GM was so afraid that people would believe it regardless of what they said that they hired prostitutes to try to seduce him in order to smear his character, hired people to stalk and spy on him, the works. He found evidence, sued the crap out of GM, and used that suit to essentially validate all the sloppy research he'd done previously.
