It seems ironic to post this comment on the forum, rather than via PMs..............

well I have had cases in the past that I sent them PM's(on unrelated issues) and they never replied or even saw them, so I figured this was the best way to make sure they saw it(since they are both on the Forums a lot)

KA - stems from the webdip forum stuff he did ... Pres Eden - funny stuff, harrassing KA for what he brought on himself

No Rancher, it is not funny. it can be quite annoying... It's not funny to see someone harrassing somebody on this site for something they used to do on another site... This is NOT webdip, we don't need things that happened at webdip HERE. keep the drama over there, not here.

This is really overreacting. You didn't even go to PMs, just straight to assuming some kind of utterly nonexistent forum feud... ironically, creating drama in the name of quelling it

a few weeks ago, I sent you a message, cannot remember what it was about now, something to deal with the actual game of diplomacy, and I never received anything back. and you are right, there is a mute button, but I don't want to have to use it because there is time to time when you actually say something USEFUL to conversations, also, I brought it up not just because of the two threads that I saw, but because another player messaged me in game asking what was going on between you 2 because they saw something similar in a slightly older thread... so it's apparently not a new thing... also, I don't care what it was, I don't care if there is a forum feud, or if you think he did something to deserve it, or if you are just being an ass hole, or whatever, I just know I want to be able to read the forums without seeing someone getting attacked.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't you a founding member of that Spammer's thread group? If so, isn't it a little hypocritical that you say you want to have something that annoys you taken to PM instead of the forum when the Spammers were doing the same thing to everyone else? Remember, that was before Thread Mute option came along.

also, for clarification, "lol really?" was in reference to someone PMing you about an alleged feud between KA and myself... this seems very strange to me as I would expect such curious parties would, y'know, ask one of the allegedly feuding parties.

@drano- yes, I was, but imho, that thread might have been a good thing... if you recall, the spamming was all over the place, for awhile there we managed to keep it in only one forum post... also, there is a key difference between that, and what is currently going on... I said I wanted the attacks on people gone.
@PE- yes, someone asked me what was the reason you guys where going at it.

In the grand scheme of things, there's no difference. You're asking people to stop posting attacks, whereas myself and other people wanted the spamming to stop. However, both are perfectly allowed on the site and are an extension of the poster's freedom of speech (unless Oli decides otherwise of course as he is the owner). Hence why, despite my annoyance at actual useful threads being bumped down by the inane spamming, I never made any concerted effort to stop it. It was merely an annoyance. Same with these "attacks". In reality, they're nothing serious, just snarkiness as Eden pointed out. Now, if they were actually throwing around hateful posts with racial undertones? Then we could probably say something about it. Comments about KA writing a symphony? Let it slide man, gotta pick your battles.

now if you want to talk about hateful spam, check out webdip, thats why I left that site after about a week, a bunch of hateful people ranting about political crap at least the spam here is funny!

Meh, TBH, at least on webdip, the spam has some sort of a reason for existing. Usually it evolves out of a political discussion that took a bad turn. Here it's just...spam. I mean, if you're going to spam, at least make it good spam!
