Crazy Combo is meant for any number of players, but this playtest requires only 3 volunteers.
The main features are: .3 parallel boards designed for 3 powers, .Players play each power once, .3 local variants (one per board), .Units travelling between the boards through "Timespace", .3 apparently conflicting maps per board, owned by each of the players. "Apparently conflicting" because… well, do you really think that Twilight Zones can fit in our traditional 2D maps? .A few headaches resulting from the combination of several variants and their potentially conflicting rules, .One of the simplest Diplomacy board variant ever designed, .And yet the possibility to get lost on it, .Ridiculous units icons, .Evil Powers
If even I managed to understand the rules, anyone can… So please come and have a look around! I'm looking for 3 players and possibly one substitute.
Sure, you'll find a link at the end of this message, but the map is not what will help to form an opinion. Because this game will heavily rely on rule variants (I insist on the plural), the 1st playtest uses a simplistic map to make the life of the players and of the GM less complicated that it already will be. The 3 boards will be visually distinct (1 abstract, 1 historical, 1 fictional), but all (have to) share the same structure. The ruleset is pretty long, I can't upload it here. Long story short: in addition to "Para-Time Dip" & "Twilight Zone Dip", applying to the 3 boards, one board will run under the variant "Chronos", another one under Double Diplomacy & FoW, and the last one under a weird rule I called "Reversi Dip". Discord doesn't bite, it honestly takes less than one minute to log in or sign in and get a better idea of how it would look like. This is super cool, and I highly recommend anyone interested to just skip the map image and start with the full ruleset that schizo posted. Reading through that helped me understand what was going on.
I think this is cool, but I don't think I'm the right guy for this. It's a little too much for me, but there will definitely be people who want to give this a go. For the right person, this seems like a fun experience.

[Speed Europa variant] moving from Burgundy to Ruhr should not be possible

As noticed by Tyran (user ID 2518) in the game "Wolf Pack v3" (game ID 58137) armies may move from Burgundy to Ruhr and vice versa (see the Map info tab of the variant's page) while the map doesn't say that. Maps on the external variant homepage also, so I suppose it is an error in the code, not the map.

Hey everybody. It was about time someone organised another cross platform Cold War tournament.

IMHO a really great new variant with many options, constantly fluctuating balances of power, both fleets and armies with power, sensible offboard movement that makes stalemates hard.
I've got some very good positions in a Europa Renovatio and a Colonial 1885 that I'd like to unload. Excellent opportunity for some shiny V points with no risk. PM me for details....
Going through an unexpectedly busy period at the moment and can't really pay full attention to all of my games.
