+27672740459 BLACK MAGIC CANCEL ENEMY CURSE SPELL
This is your chance to head off the negative and often harmful intent of a person who doesn’t have your best interests at heart.

This potent Cancel Enemy curse is designed to block any maneuver this person is planning against you. This is your chance – perhaps your last chance – to pre-empt a nemesis before they sabotage you.

Big hitters game
Interested in organising a game for folks interested in playing other big hitters. Not sure what the cut off should be, but would be good to get a mass of quality players interested and then we'll land on a general consensus if some aren't as big hitters as others.

username change
I started this account so I could join in games set up by my school, but I didn't realize that I needed to model my username after specific formatting, so now I'm stuck with a username that doesn't fit the guidelines of the setup. does anyone know how one could go about changing their username on here?

[Speed Europa variant] moving from Burgundy to Ruhr should not be possible
Hello,

As noticed by Tyran (user ID 2518) in the game "Wolf Pack v3" (game ID 58137) armies may move from Burgundy to Ruhr and vice versa (see the Map info tab of the variant's page) while the map doesn't say that. Maps on the external variant homepage also, so I suppose it is an error in the code, not the map.

IMHO a really great new variant with many options, constantly fluctuating balances of power, both fleets and armies with power, sensible offboard movement that makes stalemates hard.

This is a good one I think

The face-to-face players have a well established podcast but no-one has cared about the online space. As vDip players we'll obviously be focusing a lot on the site here, but will from time to time get into webDip and other sites.

Find out more at:
You can get it from http://www.diplomacygames.com

Or if you can find "Diplomacy Games" on iTunes, Overtune and Stitcher.

Its technically up on Google Play according to Google but I can't find it! I've emailed them but haven't heard back yet.

We've already recorded a 2nd episode and will pump them out as often as we can.

Let us know your feedback by posting on this forum thread or PMing us. Plus, feel free to make suggestions on what you'd like to hear or see included.

Have fun!

Hi folks, the second episode of Diplomacy Games - a podcast about playing Diplomacy online - is now live at DiplomacyGames.com, iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher and where all good podcasts are pumped out.

This time Kaner and I turn Classic on its head with a deep dive into the Fog of War version of Classic. How does game play radically change when all you can see are territories immediately adjacent to your units and SCs. Plus we talk Mods and upcoming developments in the variant space thanks to the good oil from captainmeme!

Great stuff guys! I left and extensive comment on the site mostly pertaining to the game covered in the 1st podcast, but to some of the 2nd podcast as well. However, I keep getting a "Page Not Found" error message when I try to post. So, I've left it with Amby on a PM for posting over there.

Very much enjoyed these. The highlights for me were covering Amby's position in Vae Victus!, thoughts on Fog of War, the liveliness of the 2nd podcast, and of course being both a wine and beer lover myself, what you guys were drinking!

Keep up the great work!!

As mentioned in my PM I'll have a look at the site later this afternoon and see if I can fix the point you raised.

In episode 3 Kaner and I look at the Italian Renaissance variant Rinascimento. What's great about it, what's bad about it, and how based on recent Forum talk it can be improved. Then its onto a game inside a game (how very enigmatic), with the variant Bourse.

Pop over to DiplomacyGames.com or subscribe in iTunes or Stitcher. Don't forget if you like the show give us a rating or review from there too. It really helps.

You two are insane, Aussies.
This said, I love what you're doing... perhaps cause I am insane as well.

I wish I could drink a beer with you while talking about variants and stuff...unfortunately I'm on the other side of the planet.

I've acutually only heard your 3rd episode. I am from Florence, the cradle of Renaissance, so I'm naturally inclined to the topic.
It's been really entertaining to me how you strive for pronunciating Italian words... and invariably fail :-)

I'll list them in order of growing entertainment:
Benevento
my nick itself: Decima
Ferrara
Genova (you must be misunderstanding with Geneva, the city in Switzerland)
the word "Rinascimento" itself
Emmanuele Ravaioli, userID=114
Appennini mountains, LOL!!

I really do appreciate your efforts, though!

Ambassador, how comes you do drink a Barbera d'Alba wine in episode II and you do not drink an Italian wine when you happen to discuss about Italy in episode III?

Kaner, you do not have to think to the role of the Papal States as Pope Francis I.
You have to take on the role of Alexander VI
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope_Alexander_VI
...different people for different ages and circumstances...

Nice idea Kaner and Amby, I think it's perfect to listen to while driving back home after a hard day at work.

Thanks Decima - love Florence. Been there twice. Still it never improved my Italian pronunciations as you noticed! Glad it was at least entertaining for you.

Now that you've heard the 3rd, go back for the first two for when you're driving next week :-)

Aaah, the wine choice. Well being Australian with lots of great wines here I tend to favour them (they're as a result cheaper too!) But of course I could not pick a Barbera d'Alba as the only Italian wines at the bar for episode 3 & 4 were a Ruffino Chianti and a Meleto Toscano Rose. So I went Australian for the wines in both of those episodes.

Yes, a Borgia pope would be a good character to play. Very much agree!

Keep tuning in my friend :-D

Weird to think of any of us as real people. Sad to admit, it takes away a bit of the sweet bloodlust that I feel coursing through my veins when I play. Oh well.

Listening to the podcast made me crave a WWIV game (sea lanes or otherwise) especially if it were to be discussed.

Thanks for taking the time, guys. Very interesting.

Keep 'em coming! I'd love to hear even just a 30-second segment each episode of you guys reading from a list of player names, just for pronunciation gold. I really enjoyed hearing from other players like Leif, goldfinger, and JECE. I know it adds logistical complications, but hearing many perspectives is very interesting to me.

Great stuff. Loved you guys talking about Tomahaha rage quitting as well as your backhanded compliments leaning my way. Fantastic discussion on the game/variants. I hope that you guys keep them coming.
Thanks ScubaSteve, Doc and Ruffhaus. Really appreciate your comments.
To help get the message out about Diplomacy, and to demonstrate the community we have here, what are people's thoughts on reposting Forum comments relevant to the episode as comments on the Diplomacy Games website?

As an example, I checked with some of the guys in the 2012 game and they're happy to have their webDip forum posts on the podcast reposted. Just about to move them across now.
No problem here.
