I am currently taking spring 1901 orders, for traders.

How many orders?

21 hrs left, right?

I will take orders until a few hours before the game season finishes, so yeah approx 21 hours from now.

I am now waiting on the Stock Orders for 4 more traders. It's interesting to look at the results so far in my spreadsheet.

Anyone can change his orders before the deadline, right?
I mean: even if we all 8 already gave to you our Stock Orders, we could all change them 1 minute before the deadline (that should be in about 9 hrs from now), right?

I'd prefer players to get into the habit of putting their orders in once for the season. However, I am open to changes yes.

For ease, I will accept the deadline for Traders' orders up until the close (30 seconds late will NOT be accepted) of the very same season in which they are trading in.

HOWEVER, the earlier the orders are made then the earlier I can compute them and post the new currency values (this is due to time-zone issues). The earlier you send me your orders, the more amiable I will be to changing them, should you change your mind.

So. If players can endeavor to get me their orders at least 8 hours before the close of the season, that would be great.

@Kaner: I know there is a $500 cap on sales, does the same cap apply for purchases?

There is no cap on purchases. The cap on sales prevents a quick bailout (eg, put all your money into one currency, drive the price up, and sell all next turn for a profit). A cap on purchases would not prevent some sort of mechanism like that.

Also bear in mind that having value in Currency is one this, but it might not equate into Victory Points.

VPs are calculated according to the amount of Supply Centers a country has and how much of that countries stock that you own. Hiprox currently has more VPs than everyone else because he bought Russian Roubles (the country begins with 4 SCs) rather than selling them like everyone else

I'd like to recognize my investors tobi1 and drano019. Hopefully a bullish Spring 1901 has given you reason to look smart.

I'm routing for hiprox now, who was the only person not to sell any Lire.

It's all a clever investment mechanism fasces. Everyone knows you're gonna solo : )

Fasces, I played no favorites this year, but I have to say, your opening move does make your stock very tempting.

I'm routing for hiprox as well, since he actually bought some Roubles :P

well my only advice to investors is to sell Crowns while their still worth something. :P

Marks and Pounds should be on the rage soon

I doubt that. The Pound maybe, but the Lire is cheaper than the Mark, and the Italy appears to be in a better position.

Everyone will be buying Lire next turn (at least I think they will).

The Frank and the Crown will probably drop in value, meaning those who did invest in the Frank last turn will loose some of their investment (everyone who can sell 500 Franks will make those 7 cents it gained last turn).

The biggest question of the day is with the piastre, and whether people will try to capitalize on the gain it made, or keep investing and hope it continues to rise in value.

I have made one mistake, so to inform everyone the issue is fixed here:
