29 Jun 24 UTC Autumn, 1910: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
29 Jun 24 UTC Autumn, 1910: GameMaster: Someone has taken over Russia replacing "heruighi". Reconsider your alliances.
01 Jul 24 UTC Gg Italy
01 Jul 24 UTC That game was lost, not won.

Germany, why on earth did you take Liverpool and Edinburgh? You couldn't even build at the time and those units were crucial for maintaining a stalemate line.
01 Jul 24 UTC This variant is awful, especially for inland nations that only survive because enemy fleets can't get to them.
01 Jul 24 UTC Yeah, this one definitely favors France and Turkey, perhaps more so than classic. England is especially screwed because France can literally throw everything at them and England can't cover NAO, IS, EC, etc. Could work well in press but gunboat is brutal to half the countries.
01 Jul 24 UTC I should clarify that England struggles to cover all those territories in classic as well but it's much harder with amphibious units.
02 Jul 24 UTC GG Italy, this map sucked for me. Took France one turn to put me running back home. Should’ve deleted in Scandinavia to build at home, but don’t know if it would have helped me long term.
Disappointing end with Germany crippling France and not really pushing back in any way.
02 Jul 24 UTC I assumed a tough position...
But it was possible to see Italy was close to win
The other players (me included) should had not attacked each other
02 Jul 24 UTC I agree. The only reason I took Belgium in fall 1911 and Holland in fall 1912 were because Germany had extra supply centers and we needed more units. Unfortunately, those moves were misinterpreted as hostility and resulted in more unnecessary antagonism. But the game was pretty much lost in fall of 1910 with the unnecessary and detrimental captures of Liverpool and Edinburgh.
02 Jul 24 UTC it give me chance. if France and Germany fight each other. it's a little lucky for me to take all Turkey's places with out Russian's resistance
