02 May 24 UTC | Spring, 1938: I love stalemates! |
02 May 24 UTC | Spring, 1938: Ah, you too! I personally love when a game is completely blocked because of a stalemate |
02 May 24 UTC | Spring, 1938: Lol, I've played this variant a decent amount of times, and only solo'd once, the rest were all three way draws. |
03 May 24 UTC | Spring, 1938: We can do a four way draw if you wish, so you don't get too bored with another three way draw game |
03 May 24 UTC | Spring, 1938: I've just looked to the number of draws and solos on this map, compared to some other similar maps, and indeed it has a lot more draws |
04 May 24 UTC | Spring, 1938: There are so many supply centers around me, I don't know which ones I should take! Good game to everyone :) |
09 May 24 UTC | Autumn, 1938: Ah what an idiot, I thought that Denmark and Copenhagen were the same thing and a supply center, I am so sad :'(. |
09 May 24 UTC | Autumn, 1938: In the rules it is written: "Fleets can move freely between Red Sea <-> Cicilian Sea and Black Sea <-> Agean Sea." Does this mean that there is no canal? Like for example Constantinople on the Classic map? So you go directly from Black Sea to Aegean Sea? |
09 May 24 UTC | Spring, 1939: i believe so. |
09 May 24 UTC | Spring, 1939: Poland refused to give us Danzig. Fine, we respected this decision. However we decided to invade Warsaw and Cracow. The Versailles Treaty will finally be abolished very soon. |
10 May 24 UTC | Spring, 1939: Even Versailles itself will be abolished soon ;) |
10 May 24 UTC | Spring, 1939: It's still a long way from Switzerland to Versailles though, hehehe. |
10 May 24 UTC | Spring, 1939: Never mind, I will passe through Spain ! |
12 May 24 UTC | Autumn, 1939: I am confident that Franco will realistically say nothing about the fact that so many armies are passing through his territories. |
12 May 24 UTC | Autumn, 1939: Finally Poland has now become just a bad dream! Sadly, as said above, they refused to give up Danzig, so international law forbids us from taking it. :( In Germany we are very respectful of the law. |
14 May 24 UTC | Autumn, 1939: Good, us English make sure you respect the international law, and compromise when you don't(please don't break it again). |
14 May 24 UTC | Autumn, 1939: Yes, the well-known international law that states Britain have the right to invade Iceland, Normandy, Portugal, Morocco, Irak, and the Levant ;). We love such international laws in Germany. Anyway the League of Nations is based in Geneva, currently under Italian occupation. I assume they are the ones who decide what international laws are (don't hesitate to denounce USSR). |
14 May 24 UTC | Autumn, 1939: In Geneva, we now decided that the only law valid in Diplomacy is the law decided by the strongest. |
14 May 24 UTC | Autumn, 1939: Vae victis, one might say |
20 May 24 UTC | Autumn, 1940: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
