05 Mar 24 UTC	Spring, 1904: It is with great sadness the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces the death of one of our most esteemed colleagues Charles Cadsworth. Charles dedicated himself to his work and will long be remembered for his good humour, unending pragmatism and raucous house parties. He is survived by his wife (with enormous breasts) and three children. Funeral arrangements to be announced, the family ask for privacy at this time.

The Sultan is imminently returning from exile and is intenting to appoint a cabinet in the next few days. For now, all diplomatic mail can be forwarded to the temporary government seat in Smyrna. We look forward to engaging with our neighbours on mutual issues of concern, including the timely return of occupied Turkish territories as we regain our strength. 18 Mar 24 UTC	Spring, 1907: A study of our dearly departed Charles' notes indicate that German shortsightedness and pettiness has lead to this current situation. While it brings HMG no joy to see Europe engulfed by Russia, we are glad to see Germany receive their just desserts.
