I wrecked nothing, I just saved us all some time. I was the only thing holding back England from soloing -- when Italy stabbed me the writing was on the wall.
I guess Italy really wanted England to win.

I disagree. Italy attacking you hurt you, sure, but it didn't doom you. England could have had other problems, and they were in a tough position. Even if you were doomed, IMO no point in playing this game if you're going to give up when things go wrong.
