10 May 23 UTC Autumn, 397 BC.: GameMaster: East voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
18 May 23 UTC gg!
19 May 23 UTC Well that was just stupid. Green just wouldn't stop attacking me even though it was plain that yellow was running away with the game! I sent you 2 allied supports, so you'd see what was happening, but you just kept attacking me and only me, even though yellow was clearly going to win! This is why I dislike gunboat...
19 May 23 UTC I think I got somewhat lucky with the circumstance, but I feel like you could have done something else. You have armies stagnant and fleets busy elsewhere. I feel like if you used an army to defend and fleets to help Blue, my chances would diminish. I was even scared that you'd go to Aphrodite's Beach! oh well. this map isn't the most balanced anyways
19 May 23 UTC I reached out to Green twice and once it became clear that he was rabid and focused only on me, I had no choice but to focus on him. My armies can't do anything except defend and I left armies where they were able to do so. I was disappointed that Blue wasn't able to hang on a little longer, but even when you were just one away from victory even then Green just kept attacking me. I even wondered if there wasn't some collusion going on because Green was like a dog with a bone and I simply wasn't able to shake him away long enough to send at least one fleet at you. Even as it was evident you were about to win, still Green comes at me. Just plain dumb play.
19 May 23 UTC I really opened myself up to yellow in an effort to do something a little unexpected in attacking Amazon Village and I'm afraid we all paid for it. Still a fun game, I thought!
19 May 23 UTC Good game West. To North: Don't be ridiculous, someone else wrote you where your mistake was.
19 May 23 UTC I had only 4 units most of the time, two of them landlocked and both my fleets were required against Green. As I said, I sent him 2 hold orders, trying to communicate that we could both focus south, but he was impervious to that logic.
19 May 23 UTC You had multiple opportunities to turn to me. Even if East won't cooperate, it's not like he is much of a threat to you anyways. You spent the fleet on defense, instead of making one of your armies do so instead. You and South could have worked together, attack me while I was focused on sending my units down. East, I'm sorry but you did make a lot of bad options, but North you have a lot of opportunities yourself. Either way, this map is unbalanced anyways but there were still some we all could improve upon
19 May 23 UTC I only got the second fleet recently and as Green was not responsive to my overtures and kept attacking me I really had to deal with him, even as I could see Blue succumbing. Had I used one third of my units to snipe a centre from you, I would have been unlikely to hold it and this would have given Green more opportunity come at me like an automaton.

Obviously hindsight is easy but I figured that I needed to remove Green as soon as I could, given he just wouldn't relent and hope that Blue hung on as long as possible. Even so, look what happened... the moment I did use a unit to try to counter Yellow, Green snuck into a centre!

@ Green - why didn't you try to reach a ceasefire with me when you saw me offer you a support - twice!
19 May 23 UTC To North: If I had made wrong decisions, I would have been defeated. Are you starting now?
19 May 23 UTC You didn't see me supporting you twice? In a gunboat game, this is a clear signal to suspend hostilities... didn't see you see that?
19 May 23 UTC No.
19 May 23 UTC You're acting ridiculous, just like the one who won the game.
19 May 23 UTC Spring and Autumn 398.

So that's why you kept just banging away at me, tying us both down as Yellow was cleaning up.
19 May 23 UTC "You're acting ridiculous, just like the one who won the game."

Sigh... whatever dude.
19 May 23 UTC Yes, I'm a cheater ...
19 May 23 UTC What an idiot!
19 May 23 UTC My god, you played against me with superior powers like a rookie. You were paralyzed.
19 May 23 UTC sigh, not the sharpest knife in the drawer, are you?
