03 Mar 23 UTC | Good game everyone! This was a pretty tough and drawn-out match. At the start I was already convinced I had lost. |
03 Mar 23 UTC | GG! |
03 Mar 23 UTC | Gg, very well played Russia. I know I had an early lead, but I was trying so hard to show that I was wanting to draw and not wanting to solo. Apparently Turkey, Russia, and Britain didn't get the memo, or just decided they were better off trying to kill me. I kept trying to help you all finish off Austria, then Germany once it as clear they weren't going to survive... Britain, you kept up your attack against me for way too long. Had you pivoted earlier, you could have captured St. Petersburg and probably forced a three way draw. A good learning experience, for sure. |
03 Mar 23 UTC | I did figure that out, but while I was finishing off Turkey I saw that England had a lot of fleets and minimal armies, and I thought that I might have a chance to solo instead of drawing (which ended up working out). I do agree that England could have forced a 3-way draw if they did not attack you and simply bolstered their defenses near me-- I would have quickly submitted to the draw if I hadn't been able to take Munich or St. Pete. |
