15 Jun 22 UTC Autumn, 843: Since this is practice - I do recommend you move to expand your borders and get out of home Supply Centers (territories with the dots). These are the 'important centers' that count for your score.

You cannot build new armies and/or fleets in your home centers that are occupied. i.e. Flanders and Lombardy: if they are occupied after autumn, then you cannot build their if you have more supply centers than units (armies + fleets) after this autumn phase concludes.
15 Jun 22 UTC Autumn, 843: Why did I not get the papal states by moving there the first time? Did I need to have held through the autumn?
15 Jun 22 UTC Autumn, 843: Yes
17 Jun 22 UTC Autumn, 844: Solid moves

Thwarted me everywhere
17 Jun 22 UTC Autumn, 844: Katie screwed me over doe
17 Jun 22 UTC Autumn, 844: Treachery!!
17 Jun 22 UTC Autumn, 844: Solid moves all around
22 Jun 22 UTC Autumn, 846: Well you two certainly seem to be in cahoots
23 Jun 22 UTC Autumn, 846: Got to give you some practice too
23 Jun 22 UTC Autumn, 846: Not too much in cahoots…

If you know what i mean
23 Jun 22 UTC Autumn, 846: ^^This lady knows what i mean^^
23 Jun 22 UTC Spring, 847: I thought i did so good! I hate positive retreats!
23 Jun 22 UTC Spring, 847: How do we kill someone so they dont just retreat?
23 Jun 22 UTC Spring, 847: You have to corner them so there is no out.

A true art
23 Jun 22 UTC Spring, 847: But if you are attacking, arent you leaving them a place to retreat to? Since the winner takes the occupied space
23 Jun 22 UTC Spring, 847: For example…your surrounded on four sides but im worried that if i attack and defeat you that you’ll just end up sitting in the attackers space
23 Jun 22 UTC Spring, 847: For example…your surrounded on four sides but im worried that if i attack and defeat you that you’ll just end up sitting in the attackers space
23 Jun 22 UTC Spring, 847: The game doesn’t allow that statement.

In the previous turn, my only option was to retreat to Croats. No units attempted to move there

Example: if there were additional units in avars and Serbs which both attempted to move to Croats, but “bounced” I would NOT have been able to retreat to that open position.

I view this as: if a territory saw battle, no one can retreat there.
23 Jun 22 UTC Autumn, 847: Thank you for the example
