01 Mar 22 UTC | Spring, 1: (The Player): A few different rules: The Baleares count as occupiable territory for both armies and fleets however, in order for an army to occupy Baleares, it needs to be convoyed. Byzantium, Athens and Sparta work like Kiel and Constantinople in the original diplomacy where a fleet doesn't have an East/West coast situation - they can move into any adjacent fleet province. Also, an army can move between Athens and Sparta no problem (no sea barrier) |
01 Mar 22 UTC | Spring, 1: (The Player): The Nile River is an interesting one. |
01 Mar 22 UTC | Spring, 1: (The Player): Basically, a fleet can move along provinces on the Nile River even if they're inland. For Example, a fleet can move from Sinai to Thebes to Memphis to Alexandria (obviously not in the same turn). So it's not like England in original diplomacy where in order to move from Liverpool to York, you need to go along the entire coast. |
01 Mar 22 UTC | Spring, 1: (The Player): That also means that Egypt can build a fleet in any of its home provinces. |
01 Mar 22 UTC | Spring, 1: (EpicRaph): k i want egypt then |

02 Mar 22 UTC | Spring, 1: If no one objects, then violation of these standards will be seen as a breach of the Valletta convention of 200 BC. |
02 Mar 22 UTC | Spring, 1: (Just in case anyone is wondering, there was no actual Valetta convention of 200 BC - it's just a made-up event to act like the Geneva convention in the Ancient World) |
02 Mar 22 UTC | Spring, 1: sorry mistype |
02 Mar 22 UTC | Spring, 1: I meant Carthage gets Numidia, Sardinia and Leptis |
