25 Feb 22 UTC Spring, 1950: GameMaster: Italy voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
27 Feb 22 UTC Well, what a weird way to finish.

Britian, why wouldn't you let Italy finish France off so we could have a 4 way draw?
27 Feb 22 UTC Lol weirdest game I ever played

Yeah, Britain, that was my sole purpose after reaching all those stalemates haha.
Germany, thanks for not betraying me. I think you could have made that
27 Feb 22 UTC That basically sums up exactly what I was thinking.
Nice work in our war though Germany, I just couldn't find anyway through you.
27 Feb 22 UTC Yeah Russia, that was a good fight. There was just no way through for either of us.

Italy, it was good working with you. I did t really want to attack you because I wanted you to go for finishing off France and I also feared if I did Britain might start attacking me.
28 Feb 22 UTC Just glad to be here ;D
28 Feb 22 UTC Apologies for the delay, and the unusual nature of the game.

But you cannot pin this outcome entirely on me. You all had ongoing stalemates for multiple turns, some of which could easily be broken. However it was clear no one was willing to change, everyone was bunkering down for the draw.

Ultimately, you all voted for the draw, no one forced your hand, and you all knew the game was heading in that direction. And are you seriously going to split hairs over a 5-way as opposed to 4-way draw?

Lets not be too selective in our outrage.
28 Feb 22 UTC Woah, I don't think anyone was mad at you. I was just curious about you keeping France alive. Italy showed signs of trying to eliminate him and you just seemed against it by not allowing his armies to get into a position to take it.
28 Feb 22 UTC What Germany said, and to speak for myself, I am not angry haha
28 Feb 22 UTC Thanks for clarifying and sorry for misinterpreting and jumping to the wrong conclusion. I thought that further Italian gains may have put them in a situation to push further west, and may encourage others to change their minds.

In hindsight, I couldve let Italy take Madrid. But you gotta admit, its an interesting end to your not so typical game :)
28 Feb 22 UTC Yeah, I get that too! If I do the math, I would have to bring a 3rd land army to break the stalemate potentially, but that would be possible in theory.
28 Feb 22 UTC Yeah the fleet in Valencia was the key unit - had that been an army I wouldve found myself on the back foot.
