15 Apr 21 UTC | Spring, 1862: The entire continent of South America being scaled down to the size of a Canadian province really really bothers me. |
15 Apr 21 UTC | Spring, 1862: At least it still takes almost two years to get around it |
21 Apr 21 UTC | Autumn, 1863: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
23 Apr 21 UTC | Spring, 1864: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
23 Apr 21 UTC | Spring, 1864: lets push the phase through |
23 Apr 21 UTC | Spring, 1864: "You can count on Mexico" is and will continue to be our slogan. But no longer so sure about these other countries tho hehe ;) |
28 Apr 21 UTC | Spring, 1866: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
30 Apr 21 UTC | Autumn, 1866: As a heads up -- the Big Map seems to have discrepancies when compared to the small/regular map. (ie. Big map shows Confederates have New Jersey, but not the small map. The big map also shows USA and England in Ontario) Just something for everyone to be on the lookout for. |
30 Apr 21 UTC | Autumn, 1866: The big map may also have SCs that aren't showing. So might as well vacate your current SCs to double check if you land on a hidden one, since it is the autumn turn. |
30 Apr 21 UTC | Autumn, 1866: Agreed. Solid strategy |
02 May 21 UTC | Autumn, 1866: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
02 May 21 UTC | Autumn, 1866: Seriously. |
02 May 21 UTC | Autumn, 1866: "whaka whaka" - fozzie bear |
04 May 21 UTC | Autumn, 1867: The Spain - USA - CSA alliance is strong. It would be a shame to see a 3 way draw. |
04 May 21 UTC | Autumn, 1867: you've done it now clyde |
05 May 21 UTC | Autumn, 1867: The Russia - France - England alliance is weak. |
05 May 21 UTC | Autumn, 1867: When it is all said and done there will not be a shade of your colors on the map and you will be nothing but a footnote in the history books. |
05 May 21 UTC | Autumn, 1867: Yeah I screwed up by postering against France at the beginning of the game. They responded by building fleets on the west coast of Mexico and can’t defend in the Caribbean. Also the up for grabs SCs at the beginning of the game are super imbalanced favoring the continental powers. Realistic for sure, but frustrating for my natiin |
05 May 21 UTC | Autumn, 1867: I think if the USA and Confeds didn't rush to the borders before snagging the easy picking Supply Centers in the middle, there would have been more of a chance for you to have had the opportunity to have more tanks instead of fleets at the front of your advances. Interesting map and like you said, its more realistic that the USA and Confeds have a stronger starting position since it's there country being invaded |
05 May 21 UTC | Autumn, 1867: I can corroborate Russia: lots of sneaky play this variant. The anon feature was interesting. Super fun map variant. Very pirate-like. #scalawags should we do a rematch Sluglust 2 same map same anon variant? |
