20 Apr 21 UTC | gg - could've (and maybe should've) narrowed Italy there, but didn't want to risk it with Russian fleets. Thankful Germany did turn around when he did - I fought like hell up there for maintain that standoff. Maybe the game could've gone better had I not stabbed Italy, but I honestly wasn't expecting Turkey and Austria to completely collapse like that. A no build Italy in 1907 would have been a wildly different game. |
20 Apr 21 UTC | I also didn't expect the sudden collapse. Not complaining though! Worrying about my fleets was a good call on your part, and you put up a good fight. I salute you! Germany, that timing was beautiful. No support move in the same turn as I move away. Nice! |
20 Apr 21 UTC | GG everyone. France, you and I had a great fight up north. Glad you understood my moves east and didn't keep attacking me. Russia, I was honestly surprised you didn't make a move Spring 1912. You could have moved two armies west and taken Berlin. But as soon as you had every center to your south, I knew you would come west. I got lucky that I guessed correctly that you'd move out to open for a build. |
20 Apr 21 UTC | Good game all. I thought I had Russia down and out... then a 50/50 that didn't go my way with retreats in Autumn of 1903... and that's right when Italy entered the scene. |
21 Apr 21 UTC | I also thought you had me down and out. |
