08 Jan 21 UTC Italy, I’m sorry that I couldn’t honor your implied alliance with the previous Austria. It was pretty clear when I joined that you were going to win easily, as you were decimating Germany and England. I felt I had no choice but to try and take a stand to force a draw.
08 Jan 21 UTC Epic struggle with England (I would think the good chancellor might have been more lenient on his German friends) and just as I had got past the tipping point there and saw good time ahead then Italy took Belgium. Surprised me. Was expecting us to settle down as friends and Italy could focus on Turkey or Austria for a I/G/A or I/G/T 3-way. That was the plan... but then 180 degree turn. Now England and I are friends to stop the solo and end up happy to get a result that was at serious risk from that point on
08 Jan 21 UTC Actually looking back it took a few more moves for me and England to disentangle and cooperate. But glad we did
08 Jan 21 UTC Yup, I think your cooperation is what finally made Italy decide to agree to a draw. Perfect timing for me, too, because it looks like Turkey was about to head into Rumania or Serbia. Could have forced me out of the draw that I helped create :P
08 Jan 21 UTC Bruh was I seriously the only one who wasn't in the draw :|
08 Jan 21 UTC Sucks to suck
08 Jan 21 UTC I was so relieved that something made Italy draw his fleet back. I was just desperate not to let Austria or Russia get behind me after that
08 Jan 21 UTC But yep probably a punt on Romania
08 Jan 21 UTC Oh I didnt expect the draw yet. I like the war with you Germany and I want it. The Baltic Sea should be mine. After you took London and I defend Edinburgh I thought this game is over for me.
It was a good decision to try the draw. For one moment I was thinking to wait for the German defeat ;)
Good game and thanks to the new austrian player
