11 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Good day chaps
11 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: For the Motherland!
11 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: Ok - so why are my points at 4 vs the 6 that you guys have?
11 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: You didn't capture as many control points (territories with the circles), which you gain whenever you occupy them at the end of autumn. The number you control in total dictates how many units you have.
12 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Well that's an issue - I was trying to figure out how the Norway tank made it to St. Petersburg only to find that I have been viewing the map at a smaller version and the top was cut off. This might not go well for the motherland!
12 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: OK, what else haven't you figured out yet? You appear to understand global messaging and submitting orders. I presume private messaging is also working and it looks like you understand how to issue support orders so that is good.
12 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Also, the concede button is at the bottom. Use it any time :-)
12 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Ouch!

Where do I go for private messages?

Finally: Your unit total can be the same as how many "circle" territories you own. However if you drive on to a territory then move off of it, you lose it. Is the only way to keep a territory by leaving a unit on it?
12 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Oh - and naval ships go take over a territory that is bordering water?
12 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: The only way to capture a territory is to occupy it at the end of the autumn phase (this turn - it alternates between spring and autumn). If you do a drive by in the spring, you won't complete the capture. You don't lose a territory you've captured unless someone else sits on it in the autumn. The non-control points might be instant capture.
12 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Fleets can move onto coastal territories and open water alike. Look at spain- it has a north coast and south coast that are separate for fleet purposes, but still only one unit can occupy anything in all of Spain.
12 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Messaging at the top should say Global, Italy, England and Notes. If not, there might be a drop down to send a note.
12 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Supply Center Example - If I move out of St Pete this turn, you don't lose it. If I stay there, it becomes property of England until somebody else occupies it in the end of the Fall turn. North and South Coasts exist in Bulgaria, Spain and St Pete. Fleets can move along coasts and through Constantinople and Denmark. You win by playing to a stalemate or gaining control of 18 Supply Centers at the end of an autumn turn.
12 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: One more thing to know - you can only place your new units on your original 4 control points. Might wanna get StP back sooner or later...
13 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Very true
13 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Learning moment... Army GAL to BUD and Army RUM to BUD would have bounced each other even if Italy did not hold with support from VIE.
13 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Ah - I see - You can't have two units on the same territory?
13 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Correct
13 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1903: OK so turn order just goes

Spring --> Autumn -->Anything you are on is captured --> Build --> Spring

Right?
13 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1903: Yes
