05 Apr 20 UTC [Russia]:I would like to say good game... But it wasn't true at all.
Thus is not a well balanced escenario with really strong powers and really weak ones.
And if you add that someone created this game with choose your country option the game was really biased since the beginning.

In any case, well drawn.
05 Apr 20 UTC [Greece]:I actually know the creator.
05 Apr 20 UTC [Serbia]:Good game lads.
05 Apr 20 UTC [Greece]:Gg
05 Apr 20 UTC [Czechia]:Good game and I do agree with Russia, This is the second time I finished this map and this game confirmed my suspicion that some powers have really good start (for example mine here).
05 Apr 20 UTC [Serbia]:I think Serbia has a good advantage in having less neighbors and surrounded by centers free for the taking. Whilst a country like the Netherlands is surrounded by powerful neighbors and has centers that are challenged by them.
05 Apr 20 UTC [United Kingdom]:Good game all. It is an unbalanced map, but fun at times. I enjoyed the bit at the beginning and I quite like how the stalemate lines in the west broadly match the German border and the North Sea.
05 Apr 20 UTC [Finland]:Good game all. I also agree with the rest that the map is unbalanced. I probably would have been in trouble early if not for Russia playing nice with me. Czechia has pretty good starting position. Russia would be in trouble if he didn't try for goodwill with most of his neighbors early because he is so spread out, so well played there.

I did think that UK had a decent shot at a solo here and could have broken my lines (although I was fiercely trying to defend them), but it is also possible he would have his own lines broken in the south by the time he broke through me. I was in a tough position late where I feared if I committed all-out against UK as I really needed to, Russia might take advantage and run to a solo himself - a very precarious position - also the reason I was refusing to allow Russia to convert an army to a fleet in the Baltic, or convoy any units. I guess Russia eventually figured out that it was ok to let me take RIG (he had plenty of units to spare himself) so that I could devote more effort to my UK defense.

I though Czechia could have been more active in the defense against UK. Why not send MEC to HAM and convert it to a fleet? Why keep GDN occupied - you could have sent that to WRM to help hold the eastern border, or sent it to HAM to produce another fleet. It seemed like you were way, way too worried about some insane stab from me where I was fighting for my life with thin borders on two sides against the two potential solo threats. I would rather see you occupy all the ENS waters so that my fleets could have defended/pressured UK on the north side, but you instead had units wasted in the center doing nothing.
06 Apr 20 UTC [Ireland]:I hink Ireland has a really bad starting position...
06 Apr 20 UTC [United Kingdom]:@Finland Although I could have outflanked you in BAR, I think that would have left me too vulnerable in NWS, and other than TRD your supply centres are somewhat insulated from a sea-based attack, so I thought that Russia would be the primary beneficiary of a full-blown offensive.
06 Apr 20 UTC [Czechia]:Finland maybe you're right but my priority number one was to be a part of the draw. I didn't believe UK can make it to a solo. Furthermore they were voting draw for couple of last years. The outcome showed that my faith in your fleets wasn't blind and I think the end is the best we all (except UK) could hope in. I also don't think one or two my fleets would do a big difference in a gunboat game.

I apologize for a bit selfish decision here but that's diplomacy I guess.
06 Apr 20 UTC [Russia]:@Czechia, I see your point. Sometimes you let the one leading crush over other players as you have noticed the solo is nearly impossible.
In this game (as I said, unbalanced) I didn't mind sharing the pot with one or two players more than usual.
So, happy to see a 5 and not a 3 way draw.
