13 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 1901: We worked so well together last game. Let's see if we can pull off another 2 way draw. |
13 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 1901: lol :) |
13 Oct 11 UTC | Spring, 1903: mmm sorry still thinking both games and I have to go out. Cinema tonight. Perhaps when I come back I'll check it before going to bed. |
13 Oct 11 UTC | Spring, 1903: Ok. I have to work. |
14 Oct 11 UTC | Spring, 1904: OMG why Buda didn't bounce in Gal?!? |
14 Oct 11 UTC | Spring, 1904: I don't know. Is it because I dislodged Rumania, which negated that half of the bounce? I don't think I ever encountered that, I wonder what the official rules say about it. |
14 Oct 11 UTC | Spring, 1904: Oops... Avalon Hill :" A dislodged unit can still cause a standoff in a province DIFFERENT from the one that dislodget it". Damn. |
14 Oct 11 UTC | Spring, 1904: http://www.wizards.com/avalonhill/rules/diplomacy.pdf page 9 |
14 Oct 11 UTC | Spring, 1904: sh*t :( |
14 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 1904: I found the rule: "A dislodged unit, even with support, has no effect on the province that dislodged it." So, because I dislodged it from Galicia, the attack from Rumania to Galicia has no effect, and does not create a bounce. |
14 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 1904: The rule you are referring to is if I dislodged you from a different province, Read a little farther down in the rules. |
14 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Zots 1-1. Budapest is basically a trap. |
15 Oct 11 UTC | I picked my moves for Moscow and Armenia with a flip of a coin. Good game. |
