18 Apr 19 UTC Pro job guys. Outcome appeared obvious for a long time. Excellent gunboat alliance, uber!
18 Apr 19 UTC Good game.

Sorry Russia, but you couldn't survive against England.
18 Apr 19 UTC Man, I just get destroyed every time I end up gunboat Austria, and I always end up gunboat Austria
18 Apr 19 UTC How did everyone think the Florence space change the game?

I think that Florence being a thing and Italy starting with two fleets caused me to have a southern tilt early. I turned north when Italy offered peace. Glad for that.

I then attacked Germany head on. But in 1904 I tried to invade England, my plan was amazing too. Flip my fleets north and plop an army in Liverpool. For some reason Italy decided to turn on me that year.

Anyway that brought us to the three-way draw situation. I still was looking for an opportunity to push Turkey back and try to solo, but I never got the chance. Well played all.

Thanks for the alliances England and Italy. Good tactics all around. This was fun.

PS: Given the opportunity I would have stabbed you Doc. Luckily, for you, I didn't get that opportunity. It would probably have resulted in us both being taken by surprise by Turkey and him winning, so I'm glad I didn't do it.
18 Apr 19 UTC @Argyle,

Austria is difficult. My suggestion to you would be to do some form of the hedgehog opening(Vienna to Galicia, Budapest to Serbia/Rumania, and Trieste to Albania/Venice). Since Venice was not a center in this game I think your move there in 1901 was ill-advised. It appears, from the moves, that Italy would have been glad to work with you from the start.
20 Apr 19 UTC My experiences was quite awful. I was invaded by Austria and then by France and lastly by Turks. Unfortunately, I was invaded by Turk in the moment I chose to attack France.

If only I chose to attack Turk instead of France at that time....
