Had to be tried and Turkey prevented me some easy builds. I got fooled by classic and thought 17 was safe but you would have wrapped up Germany too. If I'd kept Venice stopping some build capacity a different story maybe.

Yes, our early alliance was most excellent. And I think I would have been able to hold you off indefinitely in the south and my units up north would eventually have taken enough centers for the win.
