28 Feb 19 UTC | Well played sly; I love maps and the HRE at this period has delightfully insane borders ... so, although I need 2 browser windows open and an hour to work out what's happening I'll always play this brilliant, but unbalanced variant. The early rapport between the two Wittlesbachs was desperate news for me... Trouble was I could only try and outmanouvre he_he whilst watching the relentless march of the Prussians enforcing the anachronistic early unification of Germany whilst we fought like dogs over Ecclesiastic bones. But I did enjoy it! |
28 Feb 19 UTC | btw, the 1 day turnaround is brutal ... and wouldn't a Fog of War version of this be better ... for a start the fortress centres would reflect the significance of these vital strongholds ... |
28 Feb 19 UTC | yes, nice job, Sly -- I like this variant too, but maybe 1 1/2 days is better |
28 Feb 19 UTC | 1.5 days; noproc Sat, otherwise the same https://www.vdiplomacy.com/board.php?gameID=37631 |

28 Feb 19 UTC | Definitely had a bit of luck in this one, and then I was steamrolling away. It would have been hard to stop me in the last couple of years here without communications. |
