23 Mar 18 UTC Bidding: (zorclex): Alright, bring it on
23 Mar 18 UTC Bidding: (zorclex): Okay, so can we bid on *any* center? Like, if I'm Sparta, can I bin on Ilium and Pergamum?
24 Mar 18 UTC Bidding: (Cerrynity): I dunno, I've never played this one before. How about we just all bid on Ilium and Pergamum and just see what happens?
24 Mar 18 UTC Bidding: (zorclex): Sounds like a plan.
24 Mar 18 UTC Bidding: (HQdominator Legoman Version): hello Christiansens
24 Mar 18 UTC Bidding: (DahnT.e): Now are you guaranteed to start with 3 supply centers? What if two players bid exactly the same and everything cancels out? Does neither player receive any extra territory?
25 Mar 18 UTC Bidding: (Cerrynity): I dunno, I read the same rules for this variant as you. I think you could, theoretically, end up with one your one SC? Or you could end up with five.
25 Mar 18 UTC Bidding: (zorclex): I took a look at some other games, and no, you aren't guaranteed any centers other than the ones highlighted right now. I saw one guy star with five SCs and another start with two in the same game, just because they placed their bids right. So W00 diplomacy is going to be really important because that determines who's Russia in S01, and who isn't.

I say we team up on keaton.
25 Mar 18 UTC Bidding: (Cerrynity): Agreed. Why do all the posts say "you"?
25 Mar 18 UTC Bidding: Obviously the Christiansen brothers are on top of things having already submitted their bids (though still subject to change)
25 Mar 18 UTC Bidding: What is this keeping option? Can we bid later on?
25 Mar 18 UTC Bidding: First round only, see the variant
To use later would be errant
http://vdiplomacy.net/variants.php?variantID=35
26 Mar 18 UTC Bidding: Or tactically... yeah. Errant is probably the best word.
26 Mar 18 UTC Bidding: It's holy week. I put in bids early in case I forgot about the game because I was in church.
27 Mar 18 UTC Spring, 1550 BC.: Like I said, let's team up on Keaton.
29 Mar 18 UTC Spring, 1550 BC.: Sorry for my silence these first two phases. Life gets busy during Holy Week, even for non church workers! I’ll redouble my efforts in the next phase and thereafter.
29 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1550 BC.: So you know what's great? Paying 10 Euro for a week of internet and not having any internet for that week. The heck.
Sorry guys. I'll see what other networks I can hijack so I can send press. But I'll be spotty for little while.
29 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1550 BC.: can you get something like 3g or 4g?
can you get your money back or something? how does that even work?
30 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1550 BC.: Sorry for my silence these first two phases. Life gets busy during Holy Week, even for non church workers! I’ll redouble my efforts in the next phase and thereafter.
04 Apr 18 UTC Spring, 1549 BC.: GameMaster: Athens voted for a Extend. If 2/3 of the active players vote Extend the the current phase will be extend by 4 days. Please consider backing this. If the majority is not reached by "Spring, 1548 BC." the votes will be cleared.
