Bidding: From past games it looks like 1-1-1-1 split is by far most common.

Bidding: I'd be fine with making a pact to only bid on centers within two moves of our homes centers (and bidding on outside of that would be considered an act of war, unless otherwise discussed). It also means that things like Ilium or Argos are still contested.
