08 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1901: (Khatun Begum Temujin): I look forward to meeting you all, whether as friend or foe. Or as my little colonials.
09 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1901: (fearlessfactotum): Friends! Let us stumble through this accursed fog together as God intended: rifles pointed outward. For safety.
12 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1901: This wartime fog is just everywhere, isn’t it?
12 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1901: We need to clear up all this air pollution... perhaps we should meet up in Paris to discuss it? I'll bring my tanks.
13 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1901: I’ll be taking a pleasure cruise to enjoy the clear sea air. Please don’t pollute the Mediterranean with your smoke-spewing ships.
13 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Allow me to introduce myself as King Trustolini IV of Italy. My people have been kneaded, rested, rolled, and are ready for the boiling conflict to come. We are welcoming of saucy allies who will meld their flavor with our own in the skillet of geopolitics. And if you choose to be our enemy, then be prepared for al dente resistance.
14 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1901: I do hear Paris is excellent this time of year. Perhaps we can have a parade? Tanks do make for great parades
16 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: There is no air pollution. This smog was created by the diabolical liberal forces in our midst who wish to hide their actions under the cover of its darkness as they steal away the rights of Real Europeans and hand power over to foreign interests.
21 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: GameMaster: France voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat.
19 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1905: Great news everyone! The smog choked streets of Paris have been liberated, and emergency rations of warm beer and gin are being distributed to the populace.

I fear, however, that the smog has grown strong and spread further than our scientists feared. As a public service, the British Crown will publish a PSA once our scientists determine the new origin of the smog...

Oh well, there’s always the Tank Parade!
