09 Oct 17 UTC	Autumn, 1866: I've voted for a draw. My policy with both of you has been a 13-12-12 split, which is exactly what we have here. Because there is an odd number of SCs, a 2-way draw is impossible without any NMRs, while a solo is unreasonable in our current position. Let's end this as it is.

09 Oct 17 UTC	as tempted as i am to try to force the issue here against Ottoman, for fun and because that's the way I am, I fear the risk of Italy sweeping in through the south and getting the solo is too great. Also you've been a good ally, Otto, so there is that too! :-) Good game, all.

09 Oct 17 UTC	yes Italy -- after doing some math i realized once i started taking an Ottoman center or two, you could basically overwhelm him with fleets in the south, as well as shove tanks into my soft midsection. too risky to try. Italy may need a nerf, but I also just think you worked yourself into a great position capable of easy defense and attack. good game.

09 Oct 17 UTC	also, i think once Ottoman decided to leave the Black Sea uncontested, that spelled doom for Bulgaria. I never had to defend Sev.

09 Oct 17 UTC	I always try to solo, but if it's clear that I'm not the dominant force, then I will sway my policy to a draw. A solo needs an advantageous position to get right, and I just never had it this game. Good game all!
