12 May 17 UTC Autumn, 2004: GameMaster: Colombia voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
24 May 17 UTC Thank you for the game.
24 May 17 UTC Good game. Thanks to Peru for the peace when Brazil was threatening to win. I don't like a 4-way draw in a 5-player game, but felt that if it kept pushing against Brazil, then Peru would come back north and that would make life difficult. Would have been an option with hidden draw votes though.
24 May 17 UTC Well executed peace there Colombia to offset the threat of Brazil. Too often I've had games where players act oblivious to the threat of a solo and continue battles among the little guys to their doom. Nice to see savvy action on your part. And you are right that as soon as Brazil was balanced out (probably next year), we could have been back to battling again, which would have allowed Brazil to grow once more.
24 May 17 UTC This was a weird game. I got one build early on and then nothing really happened in my corner except the tussle with Chile and I didn't get another build until I took Rio de Janeiro when I decided it was time to move against Brazil to try and prevent his solo. I put in my draw vote fairly early as I didn't see a big change coming up and the board seemed to be fairly well balanced. Thanks for playing!
