17 Dec 16 UTC | Good game all. I was fortunate that Germany and Italy were under pressure from England and France. |
17 Dec 16 UTC | I especially enjoyed setting up and then taking Pru, Sil, Boh and Tyr from the east in a single move. |
17 Dec 16 UTC | I'm Frustrated that England didn't realize I was trying to stall against pressure from the East and continued attacking me when I pulled all of my units to the East. I wish he realized how late in the game we were getting, and realized I was important for the stalemate line. |
17 Dec 16 UTC | When he saw Austria in StP, I felt like he should have realized what was going on. |
17 Dec 16 UTC | Oh also, Sorry Dr. Rec. I wanted to try out a new opening as Germany and go completely aggressive against Russia. I thought that this was more viable in Fog because England and France wouldn't be able to see how exposed I was. |
17 Dec 16 UTC | GG |
17 Dec 16 UTC | Interesting opening Germany. Worth a try! Looking at the maps it helped me a lot unfortunately for you and Russia. |
17 Dec 16 UTC | Ouch. Not sure if it would have altered the outcome, but I guessed wrong against France early, which cost me a build that I could have used in Naples. Having it uncovered was too inviting for Turkey who might have kept Austria at bay longer if he had stayed focused on the east. Regardless congratulations to Austria - a well-earned victory. |
17 Dec 16 UTC | I was too busy fending off both Italy and England. I regret stealing an SC from Germany at one point but it kept me alive so I could return it later. Had Italy focused on Austria, I would have stuck to England and let him be. |
17 Dec 16 UTC | No worries Ezio, FoW is made for openings like that. Just one of those games for me, by Spring '02 I had England, Germany, Austria, and Turkey all moving against me. Great job tantrumizer! |
