16 Sep 16 UTC Spring, 1960: GameMaster: Please remember that negotiations before the game begins are not allowed.
16 Sep 16 UTC Spring, 1960: Info: This is a choose your country game.
16 Sep 16 UTC Spring, 1960: As nato, my goal is to take Toronto, Alaska, and West Germany. And to bounce USSR out of Sweden and Greece. I used to go for indonesia, but am thinking it might be better to head toward India or Japan.
16 Sep 16 UTC Spring, 1960: I tried several times Japan but hen that fleet will remain bottled there for a lot of time.
As USSR is playable also Mos-Cau to take Iran leaving E Ger for a while to NATO.
16 Sep 16 UTC Spring, 1960: The problem with Indian Ocean move is that both the side renounce to one build.
16 Sep 16 UTC Spring, 1960: What would you suggest then? Take Indonesia?
16 Sep 16 UTC Spring, 1960: Also, I assume that means Shanghi is always going to Bangladesh?
16 Sep 16 UTC Spring, 1960: For me is a 50/50 between Indian Ocean and West Pacific depends if you want play with 3 or 4 builds.
Yes USSR must play Bangladesh.
16 Sep 16 UTC Autumn, 1960: Now NATO must take Toronto-Alaska, must move in EMed, may take a choice between move in EGer or not and bounce or not India (I prefer do it).
USSR will take Pan-Iran-Seoul, move in India and Ionian and bounce Swe. USSR has less choices than NATO.
16 Sep 16 UTC Autumn, 1960: I think bouncing in Greece is the best move for both USSR and Nato for a while. Same with bouncing in Sweden. Would you agree?

Also, I see no advantage in not taking East Germany.
16 Sep 16 UTC Autumn, 1960: Oh, wait, you like moving to east med?
16 Sep 16 UTC Autumn, 1960: Do you have Russia move to Ionian also?
16 Sep 16 UTC Autumn, 1960: Yes and yes
16 Sep 16 UTC Autumn, 1960: But if Russia moves to Greece and Nato moves to East Med, it creates a problem for Nato by forcing Nato to build in Istanbul. Or, if Russia moves to Ionian, and Nato moves to Greece, it forces Russia to build in Albania. This combined with the bounce in India can be a problem for the one who did not move to Greece. Don't you agree?
16 Sep 16 UTC Autumn, 1960: No, because Albania or Istambul is a forced build for both the sides so the key is bounce in India and have 3 builds or take Indonesia and have 4 builds.
For NATO one build is in Istambul, another is in Paris and the third in Australia. The possible 4th should be in London.
For USSR one build is in Albania, another in Moscow, 3rd in Moscow. The fourth in Vladivostok
16 Sep 16 UTC Autumn, 1960: I've had better luck with avoiding the bounce in india, so I'll go that route.
16 Sep 16 UTC Autumn, 1960: Ok.
16 Sep 16 UTC Autumn, 1960: Do you build a fleet in Istanbul? And I assume an army in Paris.

It seems risky not to build a flet in New york.
16 Sep 16 UTC Autumn, 1960: For me it's not necessary now a fleet in NY, if you build here you'll be in inferiority in Europe.
16 Sep 16 UTC Autumn, 1960: The key of this variant is to have a decisive superiority in one theatre while you resist in the others where you're in inferiority.
