16 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: Really... Turkey again? |
16 Feb 16 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Yes that's like Dianna Ross's left leg, it's not right, and it's not fair.. I'm becoming convinced England has a slight advantage, but how the game should be changed is difficult, maybe having army Ankara start in Armenia ?. . maybe getting rid of Armenia.. Ankara & Armenia become one region ? |
16 Feb 16 UTC | Autumn, 1901: I've been playing a few Frankland V Juggernaut games...manly playing Frankland.. lost the first game, but learnt from that and have been doing OK and enjoying it a lot |
18 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1903: I need to think about this move and have to go do some work |
19 Feb 16 UTC | GameMaster: Turkey voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat. |
19 Feb 16 UTC | You win. Nicely done. Final score: Coxswain ~Clown: 2 Eham: 1 Draw: 1 Country scores: England: 3 Wins, 1 Draw Turkey: 1 Draw, 3 Losses It makes me think that England has a severe advantage over Turkey. If England doesn't make any mistakes, they win. |
20 Feb 16 UTC | I agree with you, if the player with England makes no mistakes then England should win, but how the game should be changed eludes me. I don't think you can give Turkey an advantage in Mediterranean... but perhaps in getting more of a contest in the North might help..the idea of making Ankara and Armenia one region is what I currently think might be the answer, so Turkish armies can move from Ankara to Sevastapol in one move |
20 Feb 16 UTC | I think maybe starting Turkey with F Bla and F smy would help? Then Turkey could get to Mos at the same time as England gets to Pete, and be able to bounce England in Tun while still picking up a centre along the way as well. |
20 Feb 16 UTC | Too bad there's no good way to test it. |
