04 Jan 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: GameMaster: Please remember that negotiations before the game begins are not allowed. |
04 Jan 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: Info: This is a choose your country game. |
04 Jan 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: Are you happy to play Austria again, Keith? If you wanted to try France there might be away of setting that up (we would have to create a new game). |
04 Jan 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: There is an option where the game creator gets to choose which power they play. |
04 Jan 16 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Happy to play Austria again mate |
05 Jan 16 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Stuffed up then. Meant to move Munich to Bohemia in order to bounce your army Vie-Boh. |
06 Jan 16 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Guess you must be busy Keith. If you message me after you put your orders through I'll check back in. |
06 Jan 16 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Mate, you could have retreated to Munich. |
06 Jan 16 UTC | Autumn, 1903: No builds for me, and you get 5 right? |
06 Jan 16 UTC | Autumn, 1903: I pretty much gave up Munich as lost then. |
06 Jan 16 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Still you are nicely set up in Italy. |
06 Jan 16 UTC | Autumn, 1903: I took five supply centres on that move. But I can only build three units, braise I only have three available supply centres to build on. |
06 Jan 16 UTC | Autumn, 1903: I think there are some aspects of tactics in this game that I need to explain to you. As well as providing support for an attacking unit, cutting support is equally important. If our units are facing each other along a line, and yours out number mine, you should be able to win the encounter most of the time, through a mixture of giving and cutting support, |
06 Jan 16 UTC | Autumn, 1903: I should have mentioned this earlier. Never forgo taking supply centres in the first year. In a two player game it puts you at a disadvantage that you can never recover from. In a seven player game, by using diplomacy you can recover. But in a teo player game there is no one you can convince to help you. |
06 Jan 16 UTC | Autumn, 1903: roger...have you move, just realised it was 1030 down there soz |
06 Jan 16 UTC | Autumn, 1903: No worries. |
06 Jan 16 UTC | GameMaster: Austria voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat. |
06 Jan 16 UTC | tried something different there, didn't pay off. Will start another game tomorrow - I'm enjoying this - night |
06 Jan 16 UTC | Good game Keith. Catch you later. |
