30 Dec 20 UTC | Thanks for a great teamwork Bobby. In 1909 as you biult fleets in Sweden and Denmark I thought this might be my end. We have proved that it is possible to make a 2 way draw in a gunboat anon game. In the future I will try a solo and stab you at the end ;) I was thinking about a 3 way draw with Italy at the end. Because Xildur you played really strong and much better then me. Sometimes I am getting nearly desperate. You saw everything coming what I tried. Because of this Italian enemy I could not enjoy this game. GG |
31 Dec 20 UTC | Thank you, doc. It was a true pleasure. Funny you mentioned the 1909 build, I was very divided on whether I should move on you or Italy. Had England been eliminated it would probably have been you ;-) Once we got to the end-game there was little to no interest in stabbing, a two-way draw is a rare occurrence and brought me more satisfaction than a solo. Stabbing you in 1911 wouldn't feel very satisfactory. Now that a two-way draw is of the bucket list I would be honored to stab you next time ;-) Well played Xildur, some of the moves made me realize that Italy was likely played by a high level player. Italy rarely survive fighting Austria from the get-go in this variant. GG |
