12 Apr 19 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Looks like this will be a pretty desperate year for me, with you already at 16, and me just at 14. But I think I've come up with a plan, so let's see what happens. |
13 Apr 19 UTC | Noooooo *faceplants* |
13 Apr 19 UTC | Good game, though! I wasn't in time. |
13 Apr 19 UTC | I think Naples to Rome was the deal-breaker here. |
13 Apr 19 UTC | Yes, good game indeed. It went right down to the wire. It certainly worked out for me. I had thought I'd have to choose between protecting St Pete or taking Warsaw, which would have left us in a 17-17 tie. But then I realized that my move to Gal (which I had done to help surround Vie) would allow me to do both. If we had ended this year 17-17, you would have had a big advantage for next turn, with that 3rd unit moving next to St P. |
13 Apr 19 UTC | I think maybe you should have convoyed to Norway in F01, and then you would have secured StP for the whole game. My biggest mistake was moving my army Ven-Pie in S03, when I should have ordered it to Tyr and bounced your army from Mun. I barely survived that one. |
13 Apr 19 UTC | Yeah, Nap-Rome was an unfortunate choice for you. |
