01 Jun 17 UTC | Thanks for the game everyone! I really enjoyed it and well played to everyone, but a special mention to Italy for A) helping me at the start and then B) putting up such a good fight when I rudely attacked you. This is my first solo in a game with more than 3 people (I'm pretty sure it is anyway) so I'm obviously really happy with it |
01 Jun 17 UTC | Good game Russia and I really tried to push you back for a stalemate. |
01 Jun 17 UTC | Yea I got a bit concerned when you took Croatia back, but I got my units back to it and held the pressure. You played well |
01 Jun 17 UTC | "Thanks for playing" I want to say only to Russia and Italy. Germany skipped the moves from the beginning - why in this case generally go into the game? And France chose me as its rival and strenuously attacked, even when I supported it, even when it was unprofitable for herself. The game is called "Can you communicate without talking?" - and now we know the answer. The USSR can, Italy too. And France can not. |
01 Jun 17 UTC | I made the game so I'm pleased you think I can, haha. Would've been embarrassing to make a game with a question I had the wrong answer to |
01 Jun 17 UTC | Just realised the only major capital city I didn't take was Rome, respect for that Italy. Also it did annoy me a bit (obviously not as much as everyone else as I gained most from it) that Germany never really played |
01 Jun 17 UTC | Bit harsh. Couldn't try to be friends with everyone |
01 Jun 17 UTC | And only attacked you once. And I communicated with Italy pretty well and helped him when I could. |
01 Jun 17 UTC | I think everyone who deserved to survive did survive. The way France and Italy came together once I reached the French border was impressive with no communications and the way England fought it as a true Gunboat was noteworthy |
01 Jun 17 UTC | Germany's not playing gave Russia a boost. But England made mistakes in fighting Russia. |
01 Jun 17 UTC | True, I was seriously helped by Germany's lack of play, but England also did make a mistake in fighting me. I was doing my best to create an alliance in the south by allowing England to take Mersin and not challenging further south, but then the moves to Izmir and Van made me realise there was no hope of an alliance so I decided to go for the war that was desired. As someone who usually tries not to backstab I am sorry that I chose you as a target Italy, but I saw the chance for my first win and took it... |
